I'm not a major fan of UK based crime (Billingham and Rankin apart), but I do enjoy these stories of the Brighton based cop and his sidekicks. Harry and Freya are an ordinary couple who dreamed for years of finding an overlooked treasure at a car boot sale, until the day they did. Soon Grace and his team will find themselves in a race against time to save the life of a young street kid, while a desperate mother will stop at nothing to save her daughter's life .

While in school, to be able to have some money, for some time he was the house cleaner of the famous Orson Welles, the famous American actor. The title, DEAD MAN'S TIME, is a play on words, as there is a watch involved, but I have to admit I did not pay attention to my clock when I was was reading; I could not put the book down.Within days, Grace is racing against the clock, following a murderous trail that leads him from the shady antiques world of Brighton, across Europe, and all the way back to the New York waterfront gang struggles of 1922. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.
