If you aren’t up to using your phone to control the settings then they are also easily controllable via the trigger gun and a handy LCD display lets you see exactly what your current setting are also. As you’ll see if you go to a car wash, detergent would usually be applied either via a brush, or separately with a lower-powered nozzle, before then being blasted with a higher pressure nozzle, and of course at car washes where time is of the essence they’ll have some washers permanently used for detergent and others used for washing rather than messing about changing nozzles.

Another surprising thing about this pressure washer was how easily it stopped when I let my finger off the trigger. Some jet washers dribble and leak, but this one cuts off immediately without a fuss, even with the extension hose attached. This might even save me a few pennies on power and water in the long run too! I was really excited to find a turbo wand included with the attachments. I wouldn’t use this to clean a whole patio because it would take hours, but for the most stubborn bits of algae it’s the only nozzle that will do. I’m really disappointed that after spending some time reviewing different jet washers, and spending a little more that I wanted for a more robust product, this stopped working after first use.
